Deep conditioning a lace front is often as simple as applying any salon quality conditioner and washing it as you would any normal hair. Pantene Pro-V, Salon Selective, Suave and Herbal Essences all have good products for deep conditioning any hair. There is, however, a way to deep condition a lace front that leaves the hair looking particularly shiny and has it feeling softer than ever. Shampoo the wig like normal, and then apply any deep conditioner. Once you have the lace front conditioned place it in a plastic zip lock bag.
You should microwave the wig for exactly 30 seconds, take the wig out and let it cool for a short while, then microwave it another 15 seconds. Once this is done, rinse all of the conditioner off the wig with lukewarm water, add some conditioning oil or other stay-in conditioner and let it naturally dry. You will find that this deep conditioning treatment leaves the hair beautifully lustrous and silkier than you’ve ever felt it before. Don’t forget to comb the lace front through with a wide tooth comb to keep out the tangles and help with the shine.
